Exciting News! Our research accepted at the 75th ICA Annual Conference

We are thrilled to announce that our research proposal, «AI-driven analysis of toxic language and its (cor)relation with online hate speech targeting vulnerable groups on X,» has been accepted for individual presentation at the 75th Annual Conference of the International Communication Association (ICA). This prestigious event will occur from June 12 to 16, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency & Grand Hyatt in Denver, Colorado, USA.

The ICA Annual Conference is the world’s leading academic gathering in communication studies, bringing together over 4,000 scholars from 80 countries to discuss the latest advancements in the field. Our study examines the role of artificial intelligence in analyzing toxic language and its correlation with online hate speech, particularly against vulnerable communities on digital platforms. This acceptance underscores the relevance of our research in addressing critical issues at the intersection of AI, communication, and social impact.

As we prepare for our presentation, our next steps include incorporating evaluator feedback, refining our research, and finalizing all logistical and administrative details. This conference presents an exceptional opportunity for knowledge exchange, fostering academic collaborations and contributing to global discussions on AI-driven communication research.

Stay tuned for updates on our participation. We look forward to engaging with fellow researchers and experts in Denver!
